Celebrate "Generations of Resistance" in San Francisco! San Francisco Pride is one of the largest gatherings of the LGBTQ Community and its allies in the nation. In addition to the Parade on Sunday, the two-day weekend Celebration in the heart of the city boasts almost one million attendees annually. This festival and rally features a Main Stage with world-class entertainment and thought leaders, at the steps of City Hall.

What:
With over 200 parade contingents and exhibitors, and more than twenty community-run stages and venues, the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade is the largest gathering of the LGBT community and allies in the nation. With a Sunday parade on Market Street, from Embarcadero to Civic Center - one of the oldest and largest LGBTQIA parades in the world. Contingents march through the heart of the city, along Market Street, with more than 100,000 spectators.

When:
Saturday, June 29, 12pm – 6pm
Sunday, June 30, 11am – 6pm

Where:
Celebrations begin on a Saturday in Civic Center Plaza in downtown San Francisco the last full weekend of June each year. The Parade, which takes place the Sunday morning of the event, kicks off from Beale Street along Market and ends at Market and 8th St. in the heart of downtown San Francisco. The parade is just 2 blocks from NEMA, located at Market & 10th – where residents will find themselves at the heart of the excitement in a trend-setting community that truly is Made in San Francisco.

Cost:
There is no fee to attend the Celebration or watch the Parade (except in the case of Grandstand Seating along the Parade route). They do request a voluntary $1 to $5 donation at the entry gates to the Celebration area. This donation helps to cover the cost to produce the event and shared with non-profit Community Partners. Pride has been able to award almost $3 million in proceeds to community non-profit organizations since 1997.
