Celebrate the Lunar New Year in style with some tasty treats being served up at nearby SoMa StrEat Food Park. The popular venue is having a special event, Dumpling Down, on February 8 & 9th to celebrate the Year of The Rat.

The Mercury News wrote a nice article summing up all of the festivities planned:

San Francisco’s SoMa StrEat Food Park is hosting Dumpling Down, a Lunar New Year food fest, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 9, complete with steamed, fried, baked and oh-so-saucy dumplings. We’re talking shumai, XLB, har gao, bao buns and more from an array of 15 different Asian food trucks, which will be serving up dim sum dumplings, as well as scallion pancakes, fried chicken, spicy noodles, egg tarts and that Taiwanese rolled ice cream that made people lose their minds a couple of summers ago. (And also last summer and probably this coming one, too.)

Attendees will also enjoy music and other live entertainment to enjoy while eating amazing food and enjoying Chinese beer and bottomless kumquat mimosas.
