Our local food scene never disappoints. Just a short 5 minute walk from your home at NEMA is San Francisco’s first Nigerian restaurant, Eko Kitchen.

Eko Kitchen brings Nigerian comfort food to the city of San Francisco and the entire Bay Area, partnering with local businesses to dish out the best meals possible every weekend in a fun, fast paced casual setting! Born from the Head Chef and Owner's love of food from her home country of Nigeria, Simileoluwa Adebajo brings a taste of Lagos to the foggy city & the Bay Area at large, and simultaneously managed to stay as close to home as possible.

The new dining option in the City didn’t go unnoticed by the press. You can learn more about Eko Kitchen and Simileoluwa Adebajo with excellent articles at bonappetit.com and travelnoire.com.

It’s become so popular that it even recently made the Eater SF heatmap for best new restaurants in the City and is described as

“full of heart, fun, and most important, it’s gaining momentum for great food, like asun, smoked goat with naija pepper sauce, jollof rice with fried plantains, and puff puffs, or Nigerian donut holes for dessert.”
