El Castillito, 136 Church St, 0.9 miles from NEMA San Francisco. Authentic Mexican spot serving up hearty burritos, carnitas & other south-of-the-border favorites. The delicious Quesadilla El Castillito has cheese, guacamole, sour cream, jalapeños & choice of meat. My go to favorite place for a burrito. Good ingredients, flavorful carne asada and they do a good job spreading out the ingredients, so you get a bit of everything on every bite. The family-run Mission District mainstay features delightful Spanish and Mayan cuisine (from the Yucatan Peninsula) fusion in a Latin atmosphere. The Poc Chuc entrée comes with grilled citrus marinated pork served with vegetable-bouillon rice topped with grilled red onions tomatoes salsa and a side of black bean puree.
