Happy Birthday Beer Hall! Located at 1 Polk Street @ Market Street, and only steps from NEMA San Francisco, The Beer Hall is Mid-Market’s premier craft beer bar and bottle shop. The Beer Hall will be 7 years on August 5th, 2020. In celebration, we got a behind the scenes peek with the owners Jen and Drew Hall at how they are adjusting to the changing times and perfect pairings to keep us all hoppy.
Founded by Drew and Jen Hall, The Beer Hall’s mission is to bring people together and make them feel at home...with great beer, of course.
“While we miss having people drinking and connecting with each other inside our bar, we want to be as safe and responsible as possible.” – The Beer Hall
The Beer Hall is currently open Wednesday through Saturday from 2-6pm accepting online orders and walkup orders for contactless pickup. The rotating draft and bottle menu are available to-go as well as housemade paninis and citrus olives. You can also support The Beer Hall from afar by purchasing a gift card for a future visit.
We all know that a panini pairs perfectly with anything, but here are a few other delicious ideas to pair with your Beer Hall libations:
- Truffle Popcorn with Modern Times Laser Rain Lime Gose.
- Sushi with Orval Trappist Brett Ale
- Charcuterie Platter with Full Boar Scotch Ale
- Ramen with Tag + Jug Brut Cider
- Spicy Dishes with Berryessa Seperation Anxiety West Coast IPA
- Cowgirl Creamery Triple Cream and Crackers with Drie Fontienen Oude Gueuze
The Beer Hall has an expansive selection and supports small, independent producers. They recently brought in fresh cans of Alvarado Street Brewery: Sur Real Double IPA, Prickly Pear Kettle Sour, and Citraveza West Coast Lager.
“We love that this area of Mid-Market is a blend of tech, the arts, and politics. We’ve met so many wonderful people here!”
Mid-Market neighbor shoutout goes to Little Griddle, Mr. Tipples and Littlejohn’s Candies. Why? The Beer Hall said, “They are all are small businesses like us who bring a unique flair and something tasty to the neighborhood!” Cheers!
Beer Hall to last all year long…
Summer: Pasteur Street Passionfruit Wheat Ale
Fall: Heater Allen Marzen Amber Lager
Winter: Fifty Fifty Eclipse German Chocolate Barrel-Aged Stout
Spring: Crooked Stave Surette Saison
“We sincerely thank you for supporting our small family business and for choosing to shop for independent craft beer, wine, cider and bubbly at The Beer Hall.” - Drew, Jen & The Beer Hall team
