Born in Miami, Joey has been in the leasing industry for over 6 years and recently made the move to San Francisco from Chicago. We asked Joey to share a little bit about himself and his unique perspective of the building with us.

Q: What are your career highlights?

Joey: My biggest career highlight is truly the growth of my career. Having started as an intern 6 years ago, to an associate, to a Junior Manager, to now an Asset Manager of the region.

Q: What draws residents to NEMA San Francisco?

Joey: Residents love NEMA because the amenities and the staff. The service provided here at NEMA makes it feel like a true home. Our residents do not want to be finding a temporary place to live every year and rent a new apartment. Here at NEMA our residents get a home to live in for years and years.

What is one fun fact about you that our residents would be surprised to know? Every year I cook a Full Thanksgiving feast for close to 100 people

When visiting our neighbor, The Market, Joey recommends: The Pizza from Tony’s Slice House! The Sweet Grandma is oh so sweet!

(Note: If you have not tried the Sweet Grandma Pie from the Slice House at The Market – do it now. It has sliced aiello cheese, sweet sauce after bake, sliced fresh mozzarella, sea salt, basil, oregano, romano, and garlic sauce. Yum!)
