Q: What do you think draws residents to Mid-Market in general?

Justin: It’s so alive. This neighborhood is full of action and activity. It’s exactly what you want and think of when considering downtown city living.

…and what draws residents to NEMA San Francisco, in particular?

Justin: I view NEMA as a true trailblazer when it comes to the high-end, high-rise rental homes. We have a deeply rooted, very positive reputation build by our community. For that reason, people come into NEMA thinking they know what to expect, then unexpectedly have their expectations surpassed. It’s one of my favorite parts of work - witnessing this firsthand.

From a dedicated management team 24-hour concierge to maintenance staff and fitness instructors, NEMA is all about service with a genuine smile and time-saving resources. Partnerships with leading specialists further expand service options to include housekeeping, spa services, dog walking, and personal training, just to name a few. NEMA’s mailroom is fully equipped with cold storage for perishable deliveries, we’ll sign for packages and either store them for pick-up or arrange for in-unit delivery.

2. All 3 outdoor terraces (each are a perfect oasis in downtown SF).

Each of NEMA’s three terraces features landscape design inspired by Northern California’s greatest natural escapes–Napa Valley, Big Sur, and Muir Woods–bringing some of the region’s indigenous plants and trees right into the heart of the city. Created as outdoor living spaces, the terraces feature contemporary furnishings by American design firms. Comfortable seating and lounging options invite residents to relax, recharge, and socialize with friends. NEMA's terraces offer Wi-Fi and sound systems and are equipped with outdoor heaters for year-round and nighttime comfort. At the 24th floor, the Skyline Terrace is a relaxing retreat with spectacular city and San Francisco Bay views to enjoy during a sunrise yoga class, while getting a tan on a sunny afternoon, or over a glass of wine at sunset.

3. Our 27/4 incredibly well-equipped fitness center.

Designed with wide plank oak floors and a mirror wall, the 1,500-square-foot Energy Solarium opens to the landscaped greenery of NEMA’s third floor Urban Terrace via floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The Solarium presents a airy light-filled space ideal for yoga practices, TRX, and other group fitness classes, as well as social happy hours and dance parties. Serving as the perfect canvas for events and special occasions, Energy Solarium can be reserved for private use.

Q: One thing you may not know about NEMA is:

Justin: At least 50 full time employees! Each dedicated to our residents in different ways.

Q: What makes NEMA stand out from the crowd?

Justin: Several things. I can easily say just the amount of physical amenities alone all through the community, or all of the built-in preemptive services (literally creating convenience). But in truth – it’s our staff. My colleagues. It’s amazing to witness so many people dedicated to the wellbeing of others. I’m personally inspired by them every day.

Lemon Pellegrino, a slice of Sweet Grandma’s pizza, another slice of Sweet Grandma’s pizza.

(Note: If you have not tried the Sweet Grandma Pie from the Slice House at The Market – do it now. It has sliced aiello cheese, sweet sauce after bake, sliced fresh mozzarella, sea salt, basil, oregano, romano, and garlic sauce. Yum!)
