April 2, Yo-Yo Ma and Kathryn Stott. Longtime friends, cellist Yo-Yo Ma and pianist Kathryn Stott join forces for a spectrum of music across the ages at the San Francisco Symphony.

April 2-13, Next@90 Curtain Call. Former SF Ballet Principal Dancer Nicolas Blanc returned to the studios to create this poetic and moving ballet in five movements, set to celebrate contemporary composer Anna Clyne’s exquisite score for cello and orchestra.

April 3, Cooking Class: Dumpling Dinner Party. Get ready to throw the ultimate dumpling dinner party, making dough from scratch, stuffing dumplings & making sauces in Hayes Valley.

April 3-4, Fatoumata Diawara at SFJAZZ. Raised with the wassoulou song style considered one of the main ancestors of American blues, Malian singer, songwriter, and actress Fatoumata Diawara is “one of the most dynamic voices in Afropop”.

April 12, 2024 PROXY Spring Series: Past Lives. Explores the Korean cultural belief that the connections we have with each other in this life are influenced by relationships we’ve had together in our past lives.

April 12, HOMIES & HOMOS: SOMArts Dance Party Fundraiser. Hosted by Per Sia and curated by Muni Raised Me’s Meymey Lee, Sasha Vu, and Celi Tamayo-Lee, HOMIES & HOMOS is a joyful gathering supporting one of San Francisco’ long standing arts organizations.

April 13-14 & 20-21, Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival. One of California’s most prominent celebrations of Asian traditions and the largest Cherry Blossom Festival on the West Coast.

April 16-21, Hairspray at The Orpheum Theater. Check out the award winning, high energy musical Hairspray. The story is set in the 1960s and follows 16 year old Tracy Turnblad.

April 21, Bay Area Skate Fest at UN Plaza. Bay Area Skate Fest brings the love of skateboarding to UN Plaza, for all ages and skate levels.

April 26, 2024 PROXY Spring Series: Turning Red. This Spring's festival screens films every Friday night running through April 26th.

April 28, Music and Wine Pairing by Tasting Notes. An interactive music and wine pairing event at Uccello Lounge with the perfect blend of learning, tasting, listening, and socializing.

Thru April 27, Conversation 8 at SFAC Main Gallery. The series launched in 2005 that features a substantive body of work by a local artist alongside works by another artist based outside of the Bay Area.

Thru May, SF JAZZ 2023-2024 Season. Featuring over 300 concerts, the season is a continued celebration of the organization's 40th anniversary and 11th at the SFJAZZ Center.

Thru May, SF Symphony 2023-2024 Season. The SF Symphony opened their 2023-2024 with their gala in September, before ushering in a robust calendar of performances.

Thru June 8, Solo Presentation from Aplerh-Doku Borlabi. Exhibit at Jonathan Carver Moore.

Thru June, SF Opera 2023-2024 Season. A calendar full of wonderful operas continues with traditional operas The Magic Flute (May 30-June 30).

Thru summer 2024, Orpheum Theater 2023-2024 Season from BroadwaySF. The season brings the return of award-winning productions like Wicked (August 2024) and Mrs. Doubtfire (July 2-28).

Late Night Specials at Rise Over Run. Enjoy drink specials and light snacks: 9 to 10pm Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 to 11pm Thursday to Saturday.

Heart of the City Farmers Market. Sundays and Wednesdays. A well-loved Farmers Market happening in Civic Center since 1981.
