Featured event: NEMA Ski Trip to Tahoe Palisades is on March 2. Get ready for an unforgettable day with fellow NEMA neighbors at Palisades in Lake Tahoe's Olympic Valley! Start your morning with a delicious pastry and hot coffee before embarking on an adventure with breathtaking slopes. Enjoy snacks and refreshments on the bus while watching a movie, playing games, and participating in exciting raffles. RSVP on the NEMA app.

March 1, Civic Center Soundtrack Concert Series. Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays, noon-3pm. Civic Center Soundtrack, a free concert series by Illuminate, takes place at Fulton Plaza, between San Francisco Main Library and the Asian Art Museum.

March 1-2, Yosemite Firefall Road Trip. Embark on an unforgettable journey to the breathtaking Yosemite National Park and witness the mesmerizing Horsetail Fall phenomenon, kicking off at SF City Hall.

March 1-3, Noise Pop. This huge celebration of independent music, film, and art is a must attend with over 150 bands will play at different venues around the city.

March 1-16, Andrew Wilson at Jonathan Carver Moore. Torn Asunder is a means to reconsider the black male form and charge it with introspection, meditation, prayer and what is lost between.

March 1-17, Family Dance-Along. SF Ballet’s interactive 60-minute Dance-Along workshops explore the story, choreography, music, and characters of some of Ballet’s most beloved productions.

March 2, Night of Ideas 2024. The annual Night of Ideas is back at the Main Branch of the San Francisco Public Library, where keynote speakers and performers will focus on the theme of “Outside the Lines."

March 2, Fight for Air Climb. This annual event takes place principally at 555 California, one of SF's tallest buildings with 52 flights of stairs, or 1,197 steps.

March 4, Cooking Class: Dumpling Dinner Party. Learn how to cook and throw your own dumpling making party in this cooking class out of Hayes Valley for an unforgettable night of cooking and fun.

March 6, Ice Bling. Be ready to bling up your ice game at Ice Bling, where you'll learn the art of making crystal-clear ice and cutting it into dazzling diamond.

March 8-10, Antonio Rey at the Herbst War Memorial. Immerse yourself in the spellbinding world of a virtuoso flamenco guitarist who has captivated hearts around the globe.

March 12, Chai and Vibes 2024 SF Summer. It's time to soak up the sun, enjoy the good vibes, and sip on some delicious chai at Dolores Park.

March 13, The Sound Healing Symphony at the Church of 8 Wheels. Let the vibrations of instruments embrace you in what feels like a warm, soothing hug for your body or a gentle vibrational massage.

March 14, Sistah Scifi Series: Womb City. Genre-bending Africanfuturist horror blending The Handmaid’s Tale with Get Out in an adrenaline-packed body-hopping ghost story.

March 16, Annual San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Civic Center Plaza Celebration returns.

March 19, "Dancing the Afrofuture" San Francisco Book Launch. SOMArts Cultural Center is honored to celebrate the launch of dancer, cultural activist, author, and scholar Halifu Osumare's second book.

March 22, Nowruz 1403 Gala at SF City Hall. Nowruz has two parts to its celebration: Eid Didani is during the day and the Gala.

March 23, A Midsummer Night’s Dream Tea. When it returns to the stage of the War Memorial Opera House, it will be only the second time this magical ballet has delighted SF Ballet audiences in more than 30 years.

Thru March 2024, Middle Ground. From the Exploratorium, Middle Ground returns to Civic Center. Find it at the Larkin Street steps of the Main Branch of the SF Public Library.

Thru April 27, Conversation 8 at SFAC Main Gallery. The series launched in 2005 that features a substantive body of work by a local artist alongside works by another artist based outside of the Bay Area.

Thru May 2024, SF JAZZ 2023-2024 Season. Featuring over 300 concerts, the season is a continued celebration of the organization's 40th anniversary and 11th at the SFJAZZ Center.

Thru May 2024, SF Symphony 2023-2024 Season. The SF Symphony opened their 2023-2024 with their gala in September, before ushering in a robust calendar of performances.

Thru June 2024, SF Opera 2023-2024 Season. A calendar full of wonderful operas continues with traditional operas The Magic Flute (May 30-June 30).

Thru summer 2024, Orpheum Theater 2023-2024 Season from BroadwaySF. The season brings the return of award-winning productions like Wicked (August 2024) and Mrs. Doubtfire (July 2-28).

Late Night Specials at Rise Over Run. Enjoy drink specials and light snacks: 9 to 10pm Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 to 11pm Thursday to Saturday.
