May 1, Clay Days: Spring 2024. Handbuilding ceramics studio, sessions every Monday and Wednesday evening from February through May.

May 5, Cinco de Mayo Festival. Celebrate the festive holiday with District Six for a day filled with music, dancing, delicious food, and cultural activities.

May 5, Cinco de Mayo. Hazie's will be hosting Cinco de Mayo with Mexico's top Tequila/Mezcal producers.

May 9, 10 & 12, The People’s Palace Performance. A new site-specific installation performance is "an artistic intervention with City Hall’s Beaux-Arts architecture."

May 9-19, CAAMFest. This is the nation’s largest showcase for new Asian American and Asian films; annually presenting approximately 130 works in San Francisco, Berkeley and Oakland.

May 10, "Koreaworld: A Cookbook" San Francisco Book Launch. Head to the Asian Art Museum as authors share recipes, stories, and conversations about Korea’s growing international culinary presence.

May 12, Mother’s Day Brunch at Villon. Indulge in a brunch buffet featuring a leg of lamb carving, succulent roasted ham, made-to-order omelets, and a tempting array of sweet pastries.

May 12, A Taste of Chinatown. This exciting event is not just a stroll through the vibrant streets of Chinatown, but a journey of discovery into the historic neighborhood.

May 18, The Ube Festival. With over 20 vendors dishing out ube-infused creations alongside their regular hits, you're in for a treat that's both unique and mouthwateringly memorable at District Six.

May 18, Paint & Meditate. Artist Yijun Ge will lead a rejuvenating guided meditation session, guiding participants to delve deep into a state of mindfulness and inner peace.

May 19, Bay to Breakers. It’s a race made for everyone, so dress up, bring your friends and be cheered on every step of the way by SF’s finest crowds.

May 25-26, Carnaval San Francisco. Carnaval San Francisco is the largest multi–cultural celebration on the West Coast.

May 26, Layover Rooftop Happy Hour. Join Charmaine’s social playground for a Rooftop Happy Hour the last Sunday of the month featuring craft cocktails, light bites, and DJ jams by Motel Club.

May 27, The Glizzy Festival. This family-friendly event at District Six promises a day packed with delicious food, lively music, and great fun.

May 27, Above It All: Memorial Day Afternoon Rooftop Recovery Soiree. Whether you're looking to sip on refreshing cocktails, enjoy delicious bites, or simply soak up the sun, this event is the perfect way to elevate your Memorial Day experience.

May 30, The Magic Flute at the War Memorial Opera House. Armed with magic bells and a flute that can summon joy, a prince and a bird-catcher embark on a perilous journey to rescue a kidnapped princess — only to discover that their adversary is really their ally.

May 31, Spring Spectacular 2024. Immerse yourself in a mesmerizing display of performing and visual arts.

Thru May, SF JAZZ 2023-2024 Season. Featuring over 300 concerts, the season is a continued celebration of the organization's 40th anniversary and 11th at the SFJAZZ Center.

Thru May, SF Symphony 2023-2024 Season. The SF Symphony opened their 2023-2024 with their gala in September, before ushering in a robust calendar of performances.

Thru summer 2024, Orpheum Theater 2023-2024 Season from BroadwaySF. The season brings the return of award-winning productions like Wicked (August 2024) and Mrs. Doubtfire (July 2-28).
