June is Pride Month in San Francisco. When it comes to Pride celebrations, nobody does it quite like San Francisco. For its 54th year, under the banner of "Beacon of Love," this year's Pride celebration showcases how we can continue sharing our story of love and be a beacon for the rest of the world.
San Francisco Pride is one of the largest LGBTQ+ celebrations in the world, with over 200 parade contingents and exhibitors, and many community-run stages and venues. San Francisco will be decked out in rainbow-colored hues from head to toe.
The SF Pride Parade is scheduled for Sunday, June 30, 2024. It begins at 10:30 AM on Market near Beale and continues to the Civic Center. It lasts an average of 4 hours. The Celebration festival at Civic Center Plaza occurs Saturday, June 29 and Sunday June 30. Entrances open at 11 AM and the Celebration closes at 6PM. (There is a ticketed 8am Saturday morning Pride for Breakfast event.)

Parade Grandstands. SF Pride Grandstand seating provides a comfortable viewing area to enjoy the San Francisco Pride Parade. Grandstands are located on the north side of Market Street between 7th and 8th Streets in downtown San Francisco. Entrance to the seating area is located on the western edge of the Grandstands, nearest 8th Street.
After the parade, escape the crowds within the cool marble halls of San Francisco's historic City Hall. The SF Pride Party at City Hall features a hosted bar, delicious bites, and three rooms of non-stop entertainment! Meet the 2024 San Francisco Community Grand Marshals and an amazing array of fabulous folx from the LGBTQ community!
In a typical year, SF welcomes nearly one million attendees to the in-person Pride Celebration and Pride Parade, the heart of Pride month festivities in San Francisco. San Francisco Pride is a world leader in the global Pride movement and a part of the fabric of Pride events around the globe. We use our Celebration, Parade, and other events to educate, commemorate, and continue our struggle for true liberation — as well as to raise much-needed money for fellow non-profits across the Bay Area.
