Spring is a beautiful time in the City to get outside and explore a trail, ride a bike, pack a picnic or take a stroll with your pooch. San Francisco has a variety of outdoor destinations for you to get your dose of nature. Here are a few of our favorites:
Alamo Square, 1.1 miles from NEMA. Pack a picnic and visit the Painted Ladies. Don’t forget your camera: historic Alamo Square offers quintessential scenes of the City, including the famous Postcard Row. There’s a dedicated dog park, but the entire area is canine-friendly, so you can go ahead and bring your puppy to play.
Yerba Buena Gardens, 1.2 miles away from NEMA. Pedal down to play and relax amid landscaped lawns, serene waterfalls and colorful gardens at the cultural heart of San Francisco. The Gardens’ open spaces are available to you to enjoy fresh air and sunshine.
