A bit of Italy has become our new neighbor. Located across the street at The Market in the Twitter Lobby, Tortellino is a unique food format that celebrates a rich food legacy and combines it with a pinch of innovation, offering gourmet pasta to-go inspired by traditional Bolognese recipes.
Founded in 2012 in Bologna, the City of Food, Tortellino combines taste and innovation in a restaurant-quality yet convenient takeaway format. After expanding to three locations in Northern Italy, Tortellino brings the heritage and tradition of Bolognese cuisine to Market Street. Whether in Italy or San Francisco, the very purpose of Tortellino is to bring people back together and gather around a meal like we used to do while our grandmothers were making hand-made pasta.

Apparently a brand new piece of Italy just landed in San Francisco! Very easy going, authentic spot inside the Market Hall, loyal to the owner roots (Bologna), based on the served dishes. Had the chance to try their Special Tortellini with Cream and the delicious Mascarpone cream topped with Fabbri Amarena. Well, it really felt like home.....keep up with the good job! – Domenico G.

Very authentic homemade pasta, like the ones I've had in Florence. Priced fairly. The fettuccine Alfredo was delicious and the bruschetta was the best I've had in the states. I cannot wait to come back. It's worth the drive from Oakland. – Nancy T.
